It surprises me that you dont need a licence for air rifles in Britain, Its a deadly weapon as far as I'm concerned and should be treated as such. Hell, In South Africa (where guns are a way of life) you need to have a licence to own any form of weapon, including air rifles!

The little ba**rds in this news clipping should have been jailed or beaten to within an inch of their puny little lives!!

Totally agree. Why weren't they up for attempted murder? Before you laugh, it can happen - one of my uncles was killed by a "lucky" pot-shot from a kid with an air rifle.
