Hello from the Highlands

I've just joined this forum because I'm looking pretty seriously at a Cerbera as a replacement for my aged CLK.

Having read through loads of postings it seems that although these cars have their niggles (some pretty major it seems), once sorted they are reasonably easy to live with (bit like Italian bikes then, I have a Laverda Jota and a Guzzi 1100 Sport) My question is this: Is it even remotely sensible to buy a Cerbera when, relatively speaking anyway, you live in the back of beyond (I'm in Inverness)? The Highlands is great driving and riding territory, but I understand the nearest experts are in Callendar and Edinburgh, a hell of a long way if you have a dead car on your hands. Should I stop dreaming and buy something more sensible, or could a bloke who's reasonably handy with a set of spanners survive?

I'd say you will survive just fine! read up in some of the threads about how to buy a good one! it really is all good advice.

But if your in love with Cerbs, well then just go for it!

Hi Reggie,
You think you've got probs ? I'm 450 miles away from the nearest reliable dealer and I would say if you're handy with a spanner and have some space then Cerb ownership will imporove the quality of your life immeasurably. This last year has been the best of my 33 years of driving/riding experiences - No question !
