Same here Im afraid - got to the services on the M25 & met with a few others & after watching the car park flood decided to blow out.

Such a shame as we were really looking forward to it - I know lots still went to Windsor & I hope you had a great day, the weather did get a bit better but as I type its really raining hard & the roads flooding so I wouldnt fancy sitting on the motorway in these conditions again.

Had a champagne picnic in the lounge instead

Nick, Alan, I wondered where you were. We just got home from another top afternoon. We had a fab time. It was very wet, thundery and not too warm but thanks to Colin and his large gazebo we survived the conditions. We devoured an enormous picnic and watched Harry Wales and his team put up a valient effort. Well done to everyone who braved the monsoon. What a laugh!!!

It was more than wet. We drove through about 10 fords on the way back to the M25!!! Fortunately it dried out just north of London, and we even considered taking the roof off but as we were so wet decided against. Great day out but the weather did dampen the event. jeffsy, Sarah and oursleves did a great picniuc with chair, a propoer picnic set but NO gazebo so 5 umbrellas and we did get very wet.
