Griffs Windscreen ?!

Dear Griff-Drivers,

need a new windcreen. any ideas ?

need a completely new roof (rear folding part and also the hard-top section, except the hard-top part of it).

and a special question to the griff-owners in germany:

do you know anybody who is able to refurnish a griffs dash ?

Was once quoted £700 for a new screen.... NOT including fitting..

You need to speak to Mobile Windscreens on 0117-304-2000.

They were fitting replacement screens at the BBWF to wedges, after seeing them in action, would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Unfortunately they only had a couple of screens available so were unable to make the Growl, but should be there next year.

I'm sure a few wedgers who saw them in action would vouch for them too.

Yes thoroughly endorse what Maggit said.
Phil Lomas, from Mobile Windscreens, sorted my screen out about 18 months or so ago and a brilliant job they did too, he had the screen shipped from Bristol same day to my local depot in Worcester, excellent job of fitting was carried out, great service all round.

At the Wedgefest the guys did a sterling job replacing (I think) 6 or 7 screens in an afternoon and all were top jobs!

If you`ve any concerns or questions I`m sure Phil will be more than happy to discuss them with you.

I can wholeheartedly endorse this as they did my Griff a few weeks ago. At the time, all the other firms could not locate a replacement screen. It took 3 days from my initial contact to the screen being in the car. Very impressed with the service.

Thanks for the positive feedback; I'm almost blushing! We still have a couple of Griffiths screens in stock and lots more on order which is more than can be said for TVR according to information that we have received!

Just booked one in today for a PHer in Portsmouth to be done in the next few days.

I broke my windscren on the 1st day I had my griff Oct 2003, the chap who sold it me told me how to lift the bonnett, he said pull the catch lift up the 1st part then lift out the wheel section, then pull back down the windscreen end and lift. When I did this I heard a crack and that was the end of that. RAC windscreens fitted a new screen and my insurance picked up the bill of £620.
Now on my 2nd Griff.

Yup, somebody's having a larff.

I'd go with Mobile Windscreens anyday. Sod that much, get it done properly.

I think someone at the Growl said that TVR car parts and David Gerald had put an order in together to have some of these made. Might be worth a call.
