Chimaera brake upgrade
Discussion
I recently bought a brake upgrade kit for the Chimaera (from the PH classifieds, originally supplied by TVR Power).
However, despite being advertised as for the Chimaera, they don't appear to be a straight fit;
The calipers are 4 pot brembos with white TVR lettering (I have the part code somewhere)
The disks are 280 (ish) grooved
The issue is that with the calipers mounted in the same position as the old ones, the disks seem way too deep. If there was a spacer behind it and longer wheel studs, it might possibly fit.
So, am I correct in assuming I've got the wrong disks for those calipers, or is there some kind of adapter kit (he says, hopefully!).
Thanks,
D
