Heater pipe\hose

I am trying to identify the heater hose that comes from the engine through the bulkhead into the heater. Where is it fitted to engine? and where does it go through the bulkhead ? What size is it?
96 Griff 500 Serp engine. A pic would be good! Thanks.

The pipes on my precat join to two connectors under the inlet manifold, one goes into the manifold, the other runs underneathe it to the front.

You can squeeze either of the pipes to check if your heater valve is closing, now how did i know that !!!

Hi David, wow how did you know that I am thinking of fitting an inline on off valve on one of the hoses under the bonnet. Would it matter which one I fitted it to? Do you know if the heater hose is half inch or five eighths ?
