SVA Emissions and LS engines

OK... there has been talk about how scarey it is to go through SVA with a post 1974 engine.

I'm sure the ls1 is an efficient engine, probably as good as you can get for it's type. This is one of the reasons the rings are high up the pistons, to reduce crevice area for unburnt petrol to hide in. It was designed with forward thinking for many years in an age when emmissions are going to get stricter.

I have LS2 dry fitted in my ultima matted to a G50 box hope to have it runing later this year
no problems so far moved it about 1.5" forward to alow aircon to fit as standard, will post som pics soon.
