Heres my attempt at some Evo style shots
Discussion
Nick...this is a big improvement
The original shots are very good but need work in PS.
I agree with Matt...in the shot he mentions I think the black car needs to be further back, and the silver car more to the right. IMHO.
All credit to you for sorting out the logistics and actually doing what most of us keep putting off 'till next week
Martin.

Please can you explain how you did that BB.
Jamieall has done all the hard work and a bloody good job he's done too.
For creating this stuff in photoshop have a look at this tutorial on my website...

1 & 2 are achingly close to magazine quality - very good effort given the constraints you mention. An ND grad would have improved and slightly more care positioning the cars (Silver cars plate obscured by wing in shot 1, silver car slightly cropped by black in shot 2) would have given perfection assuming total sharpness (can tell at this resolution). Well done!
3 good, but compositionally slightly weaker for me (cars closer together would have improved), 4 suffers from being shot into the light source and (perhaps consequently) shutter speed too fast - telegraph pole distracting too. 5 is pretty cool although I might have positioned the cars further apart / showing more front end. ND grad would have been good here too for that moody sky. All in all a great effort!

Yup, I know it was Jamie who took the shot. I was asking how BBgy did the artwork as I love it.
That tutorial is great BB, thank you very much.
As its raining I might have a go later.
One day I will be a PS pro!
Greg
So, Mr Buggy, in the shot you tweaked above, did you lassoo all three of the cars out to then add the motion blur?
I have been trying it out, but can't seem to clone out the car well enough after layering the car. There is clone crap all around the car once I have blurred it and put the car back.
Can't you layer the car via a cut and then do it, so as to avoid having to clone the car out once layered?

PS.. Love the site too!
