ebid.com / www.ebid.com doesn't exist.
I am surprised fleabay.com hasn't been registered... but nope doesn't exist.
ebay.com also has country specific sites (.co.uk, etc.) handy if your looking locally for something.

dunno about Yahoo! But Amazon do 'Z-shops' and auctions.

www.fleabay.co.uk exists - billed as the UK's Online Stolen Goods Marketplace

Bizarrely though, it looks like a pukka ebay.co.uk can actually be found at that page - a cheeky marketing ploy by ebay themselves?

That's actually quite scary. If you enter www.fleabay.co.uk it does actually say "UK's Online Stolen Goods Marketplace" at the top of the page.. but if you try and login you are directed to the genuine log-in page.. or so it appears

If I were eBay I certainly would not associate either 'fleabay' or the 'UK's Online Stolen Goods Marketplace'

Is it the same place ??

I suspect someone other than EBay owns it and has just set up a redirect?

yahoo Japan has great auctions, specially for rare hard to find parts for your JDM cars. The problem is currently there are not many sellers who sell overseas. The secret is to find someone in Japan to act on your behalf. Im currently sniffing out a company that proports to do this.

Then why would they put "UK's Online Stolen Goods Marketplace" at the top of the page?

Probably makes them a few quid as well.

Ebay affiliate payments are quite generous, so if anyone opens a new account through that link, he will earn...

ebid does exist - at http://uk.ebid.net/

Not as big as ebay as yet but same rules apply - be careful - many dodgy dealers about!
