Engine Refurb.

Covered about 1500 miles in the last couple of weeks and I think that the engine is getting a little tired (the drivers about knackered a well). I will be lifting it out at the end of September and taking it to a rebuilder for work. I've had a good look around on various websites and would appreciate any GOOD experiences that owners have had.The list is not too long - DJE Rover, JE Engineering and Lund Engines - if its controversial, send it by PM.

I have first hand experience with JE Engineering when I have the 450i. Wyn (PWD95) Now has the car so ask wyn for his opinion too but the quality of the engine build appears first rate and the engine makes the car its in.
On a downside, JE Engineering are one of the most expensive out there - you'll need deep pockets!

What about just getting hold of a sorted 4.6 engine for about £1k and fitting that?

I have contacted John Eales and J E Engineering and have decided to go with John Eales, he has been most helpful in recommending changes.
Should come back with a little more power than it went in with...
