Hi all you piston heads. I've spent a long time in company cars but now looking for a kit car for a bit of fun doing track days.

Trouble is I'm 6' 4" with a 33" inside leg...Good news in i'm skinny with it. Last time I looked at kits years ago I remember being a little embarassed trying to squeeze into them.

Any other tall guys know what kit cars I'd fit in? I fancy a Westfield..

Hi, I'm 6'4" / 6'5" and have a 32" inside leg. I'g just bought a Westfield wide body (they're a little longer as well as wider apparently). Anyway, with floor mounted pedals and Westfield Sports seats pushed right back, I fit in fine. I reckon you could get another inch or two by getting the race seats (plenty to choose from) and if you're skinny you'll fit in them no worries... unlike me

Im 6'4 33 inside leg and 16 st and looking myself. I find the vindicator spacious both in length and with. As I would be on a tight budget I cant even look and westfields.

I thought the Tigers had a little more room. From what i have found out avoid Caterham they are the smallest by far.

6'4" and over 16 stone and have a lwb Dax Rush. They have a 3" stretch in the cockpit and a dropped floor which gives an extra couple of inches head room.

Thanks for the info people - much appreciated - at least I know I've a chance to get something sorted later in the year ready for some track days next spring with a bit of luck.

rj, I'm in Rugby, wouldn't mind a look at your westfield sometime.

6'2" and 34 leg and a standard Rush is fine, even for long distance.

I'm 6ft 3" with 34" leg and I fit nicely into my Sylva Striker.
Couldn't get near the regular Tigers though.

I am a petite 6'2" and 17 stone - I have trouble with most conventional kit cars with a roof but sevens are ok for obvious reasons. Dropping the floor in the seat area was my only option, along with finding a seat which has a very 'laid back' angle.

6'4", 34" inside leg with MK Indy. Small steering wheel, fibre glass seats bolted to floor (not on adjustable rails) but in this chassis it's possible for me to have the seat TOO far back! I'm bolted about 2 inches forward and it's just nice

Can you heal and toe? I am 6'4, 13 stone and I'm considering an Indy. Only other sportscar I've sat in is an Elise - which I do fit in, but cannot heal+toe due to my knee hitting the steering wheel, which I was disappointed about..

I'm 6'2" and ahem, slightly heavier. My Indy has an adjustable column from the donor which helps to raise the wheel and there's plenty of room for heel and toe antics in the pedal box, once the pedals have been set up. You should try one for size.
