Trackday action from Knockhill
Discussion
GT is owned by guy who sold out the Lemings game. He has had it from new and it is one of only 2 RHD to exist. Very low mileage as he has quite a few cars!
I like the Club Sport picture. Shows that all the work I have done to car has paid off. It goes very nicely. The red RS is mine too and was lapping well. Seems to handle much better on a warm track. Must have been the first time ever for that at Knockhill!

Nah....a bit of confusion here...I understood there were 11 and some say 12 rhd uk GT2 cars produced....
I think the ex Bergmeister now Mclean (www.gtclassics.com) GT2-R is one of 2 rhd GT2 race cars produced, maybe that is where the confusion over 2 made comes from?

The lad who owns this RHD black GT2 has been on here once or twice before. He lives in Scotland and seems to do the Knockhill days. The car had some dodgy Sparco or simlar race seats in if I remember, although I could be wrong!

I love the 993 GT2! It makes the 996 gt2 look like one of those early 90's body kitted 928's.
I was thinking just the other day about buying something with more of a track focus. Where can I buy a RHD GT2

One here AceP.... www.seanlockyear.co.uk at the top of the page.....you may want to do a little research though
Can't see the cost to change from your 993 TT being worth it to be honest.

Is that the actual plate of the car or just used for trackdays??
Looks like a good example, almost too good to track?

I wonder if that is a "real" plate. Cool if it is.
I'd say that car is looking just too nice to track! Good on him though, of course.
Ive seen that car many times at knockhill over the last few years. It's a genuine RHD 993 GT2 and is absolutely gorgeous. Its not quite as black in the flesh as in those photos, more of a very dark purple. The plate is real.
