Hi all,

I used to use the store locator on the Shell website but it appears it is no longer supported.

Does anyone else know where I can search for stores which stock Optimax? - failing that, can anyone tell me where I could get some Optimax around J16 on the M6? I will be enroute to Cumbria and need to fill up around 150 miles into the journey (i.e. J16 for me!) but a little before or after would be fine too.

Ooo, around Windermere would be great also (for the journey back! )

Thanks in advance,
Phil.

There was a shell garage in the town at Windermere last time I was there, they had one pump selling optimax!

Enjoy those roads!

Where are you staying up there?

Penrith has 2 shell garages, one each end of the town!

Hasn't the AA got a petrol station locator on its website?

So are you going to drop in to the factory while you’re in that part of the country?

We did a factory tour on the way up last year, the girlfriend came away saying we had to have a Tuscan but now seems to have changed her mind, maybe I should have got it in writing

... can you do that then? Just drop in like? Unannounced?... may well do if that is the case!

Right!... AA route planner... :tongueoutconcentrating:

Would Monday be a good day to go? (i.e. better than the weekend?)

Ta.

Yep certainly was, we did let them know in advance.

I think it’s Lisa who deals with the tours, really worth doing, but I’d leave your chequebook locked up for a while!

Phoned them... apparently they are only doing them for proper customers at the moment ...

The lady on the phone (Lisa perhaps?) was actually far more polite than that! She said that because of the volume of response to the motor show, they are having to cancel factory tours for anyone who isn't currently speccing their new car so boo!
