This may seem like a strange question (i have no kids, and have yet to go on a track day), but if you have kids can you take them round the track with you? do you have to pay extra for the privelige?

Just curious!

Ordinarily no - no-one under 16 is allowed on the track or pitlane.

I'm sure in club racing etc there are kids who get involved, but for trackdays, it's a matter of public liabilty insurance, and keeping sprogs away from the hairy bits keeps the premiums down.

Just take the spogs karting instead, that way they can drive as well
