PH TV always crashes my computer!

Not sure why this is, but everytime I try and view something on PH TV my laptop always freezes up and I have to restart it

There must be something startingly obvious I can do to get around this as I feel I am missing out on some superb home made videos

Usually to do with the Media Player being embedded in the page. I get the same on some other sites.

I'm working on an alternative format.

not had the TV thing yet, but tend to d/l stuff that not work to HDD and use videolan to play them, this is a free player that might be good as an alternative as feel that windows mp wont work very well for mac's ?
