What's my phone trying to tell me?

I have a Nokia 6610i handset and for the last couple of days its been showing an odd symbol but only when the screen saver's active. Its a small arrow pointing towards a raised telephone handset. I don't have ny diverts etc in place and this symbol doesn't appear in the manual anywhere that I can see. When you take the phone out of screen saver mode, the symbol disappears.

Any ideas what it means?

Is it a missed call?

Go into Call Register then Missed Calls. That should get rid of it

Got it in one.

Its odd, though, as the handset usually announces a missed call when you take it out of screen saver mode...
