Hi all from a newbie on this forum,

I'm looking for a Westfield Megablade or Megabusa and would like to fit a Trickshift (I think that's how it's spelt?) having had the pleasure of experiencing one first hand at Keevil last week (thanks Danny )

Can someone tell me who supplies it and any experiences of fitting/using it? I'd like to connect it to a paddle shift system if possible as I have a dodgy left leg and clutches are a pain for me!

Thanks in advance,
Dom.

There's a guy sells them on ebay regularly, search quick shift or trick shift, he sells the one with the "auto blip" on downshifts, cool.

Thaks Jon... that's the one I'm after! Have searched e-Bay but can't find anything that sounds like it might be right for the job

Have a chat with Tris and Derek at Kit-parts on 01359252109, they have developed and sell a Clickatronic system that I've got on my Locoblade. The ignition retarder is set to 0.08 seconds - and it's bloody quick. Made a big difference round Cadwell, full bore clutchless upshifts possible in corners where previously you'd feather it or sit a gear higher worried about upsetting the back end. Will be trying it out at Snetterton next week. Your shifts work on buttons on the steering wheel, the engine retards automatically on the upshift, and blips on the downshifts to match the revs to the gear engaged. There's a picture of one on a car (the white one), and another variant with paddles at www.toniqr.co.uk
