Am wanting to change back to a Range Rover after a few yrs away. Am considering a 2002/3 4.4.
Has anyone had experience with getting them converted to LPG ?? I had an old 4.6 converted and it was a complete red herring and cost a packet. Have been away nearly long enough to forget the bills/breakdowns!and would dearly like to give them another go.
Any thoughts??

I've never come across a rover V8 that will run on gas nicely. I'd steer well away from one.

Would that not be the BMW engine, in a 02/03 3rd gen', or have I got my wires crossed?

Bugger had my eyes shut when i read it
But I still wouldn't run gas, it just doesn't burn the same had to take the heads off a disco v8 this am. The gas had burned a hole through the head! I know this could of been fitted incorrectly etc etc but i hear of more horror stories than happy tales.

thanks vixpy, I will give them a call. The other one that keeps popping up is the gascarco.

The costs savings seem to be their on paper, but reliabilty and range are my biggest concern.

We used to only get about 200miles from my old 90litre lpg tank, which just isnt enough!
