Spi to carburettor conversion

Can a single point injection engine be readily converted to carburettor induction and "normal" distributor ignition? I realise that different manifolds etc are required but are there any potential problems? (I'm looking to fit an spi engine into a non spi car)

Yes you can. all you need is engine, and new stage 1 kit, and hif44 carb. and need to drill/tap the cylinder head temp sender hole.

I done mine, SPI cooper, now running on carb. need new front wiring loom. as SPI cooper has millions miles of unnessary wiring.

Its running good now.
