Came off my moto x bike on Sunday, I was going a bit quick up a steep incline which I thought would turn into a table top, only to find it dropped away on the other side so ended up flying through the air landing on my head & shoulder. Not to much damage to the bike, but I have a broken bone in my shoulder..........moral of the story.....walk the course first!!!

Bad luck mate.

I feel you pain, broke my shoulder after coming off the CBR600RR, slid across two lanes and bounced off the central reservation. Do they know what they are going to do. I had to have the top of the humorous stapled back on. Got to be in a sling for 6 weeks.

Sorry dont mean to worry you. Hope you recover fast.

sorry to hear that matey!

the bone will heal - take your time to recover - lots of physio etc etc

I have a cat3 permanently dislocated clavical - for the first 10 days I couldnt move - after 2 weeks I was back at the gym - week 4 playing left handed squash and after 2 months back on a track day.

However - 3 years on its only in the last 6 months that I have had no probs!

Keep on riding - Khushy

Like you they have given me a sling and told me to rest, have to go back to the hospital next week to see how it is healing, then I should know more

Cheers

Ouch

My son races in Motocross. It certainly pays to know or walk the course.

Glad it's only minor....

That is what they did to me, back to the fracture clinic, first thing he says is "We are going to have to operate" eeerrrr ehat did you say.

I am now 4 weeks after the op and still in pain, can't drive or anything, going back on 29th to see what they say hopefully it will be good news. I hope it is good news for you and they say "here have a couple more pain killer and you will be fine".

Good luck

Motocross is a good way to appreciate crashing!

I've done my right wrist, right fibula, right radius and ulnar. Knackered all the cartlidge in both knees, and all in the name of a competitive dad before I was 18 years old!!!

And there's no traffic coming the other way...

Consequently I ride my CBR600 like an owd codger!!!!
