Morning,

Tomorrow I have a driving experience day as a present at Thruxton where amongst other things I get to drive a 328 and a 360, is there anything I need to be aware of or can I just jump in and just enjoy the moment?

360 is a doddle, just jump in & enjoy... If F1, make sure it's in 'sport' mode

Most important is that remember that the 328 has a dog leg first, this means that first is at the bottom left. When i first had mine i keept putting the gear in what i thought was first but realy it was reverse and i shot backwards a few times Also be awere that the 328s gear stick will be rubbing against ya knee due to its shape.

I did one of these but in the 355 at Thruxton, bit frustrating as the instructor shouts at you to change up at about 4,000 revs...

Its the same in the Stradale, the sterio is a complete waist of time. Plus where its mounted it rubs on your left leg!

Unfortunatley i done the same experience at Thruxton and the instructors seem more worried about keeping revs down then giving you a "super car experience." Make sure you give it a bootful and tell them to f**k off if they keep getting you to cruise round the circuit in 4th.

Dunno about a 355 but if they don't let you take a 360 above 4K rpm it's a rip off. I pull those kind of revs pootling around town with my 64 yo mum in the passenger seat so as not to frighten her.
