Real difficulties with PH the last few days?

Is it just me, or is it PH? I've been having constant "hangs" with pages timing out - both on my work and home computers. I also cant get the search function to work, keep getting an "oops" error come up.

I've done the usual, cleared down PC's, checked all the usuals but it's only this site that is doing it - I'd say 3 out of 4 page loads attempted fails (took me a couple to get here!)

Sorry about that.

I think there are two things going on. PH is occasionally suffering deadlocks (a few times a day) but there is also an issue with the connection to the ad server we use. That's affecting some people badly. I've had a meeting with the suppliers today and they've now got a handle on it. Hopefully they should be able to resolve it shortly.
