The NGK B7ECS seems to be the only favoured choice of plug, but does anyone use Bosch plugs?

Also, why should plugs be discarded after they've been fouled by flooding? I've seen this comment made on a few posts, but can't think of a reason why? Can anyone explain what happens to them?

In theory, clean them up put them back in and run fine. Things never seem to work like that though in practice. Dunno why though, probably my poor cleaning technique.

My experience is that trying to clean these plugs is rather a waste of time, they never fully recover. For the cost of a set of plugs you might as well fit new ones and know that they're working properly.
