Any decent MAC games available?

Hi All,

My Dad has gone and bought a Mac because "Win XP crashes all the time". Obviously he now has nothing to do with his computing time because the system is so stable.

Are there any decent strategy style games anyone could recommend?

Civilization 4. Admittedly I haven't played it on a Mac. But I've got it on the PC and it's capable of sucking large portions of your life away. Do a quick google for a mac review & see if its good.
Premise of this game is: You build an empire over thousands of years & take over the world. My games always seem to end in nuclear holocausts, but I believe you can be peaceful if you're so inclined. You can play online too. I can't recommend this game highly enough.

civ 4 is great. I quite like trying to take over the world by cultural domination, it's quite satisfying. sadly it doesn't work online as you just get invaded

Not quite strategy but World of warcraft would see him lose many hours of productivity...

Neverwinter Nights is an oldy but avaliable on Mac.

Google pointed me at this website: www.insidemacgames.com/ which seems to have reviews and previewes of games avaliable on that format.

Which model of Mac is it? The latest models can boot Windows XP as well as the MAc OS. You can boot it into XP and play and PC games on it.
