NF Auto development Mk4 & Can Am

May be bit of a silly question, but does anyone know the history of these cars?, it bears a striking resemblence to the Ultimas:

I may be wrong here, I get confused over who did what originaly. But, wasn't Lee Noble part of N.F. Develpments? I'm sure he designed this chassis in the begining. Also, the car is a replica of the Lola T70 IIRC, hence the Can-Am monica?
