fixed my failed power steering which turned out to be a broken 80 amp fuse holder behind the left front wheel. after driving the car without power steering all week i'd say its far to sensitive now :O
.

is there any way of reducing the assistance it delivers?

also had the car on dastek rolling road today, it is standard just with the tvr power super sports exhaust and figures are as follows.

343 bhp @ 7000rpm
297 lb ft @ 5000rpm

happy enough as i had heard the exhaust can drop a bit of top end power, but the 7bhp loss should be evened up by the 7 lb ft gain over standard figures.oh and they said it was running lean, is that the way it should be?

what a ridiculous amount of noise the car made! it was unreal, as if the world was about to come to an end or the speed six start to sook up small cats and dogs.

now im away to knockhill for the top marques evening, hope its dry :O
car wieghs 1100kg (used wieghbridge at work)

just home from knockhill, halfway through the session was rained off, track was waterlogged and almost undrivable, but the t350 was very impressive in the wet, i did not get passed once, all sorts of 911's new and old lotus elise/exiges, bmw m6 + old m5, evo's, a mazda rx7 and honda integra.

and the supercharger chimera from tvr power, which i left standing pretty much, the guy was fascinated to see what tyres i was using as it was terential rain.

only problem being the water got to my car, and the speedo now says im doing anything between 0 and 226 mph at standstill. awesome

Good to hear you had fun.

Sounds like water got into the speedo sensor or caused it to fall out of alignment. It's on the diff.

Take a quick note of your mileage - with that speedo playing up you might knock up some impressive miles!!

If it's the same as the 'Gris, possibly just some debris/clart over the head - clean off and check.
Otherwise check with HHC for the clearance distance - if the head has backed off / come loose it'll have the same effect.

have just snipped the wire for the moment to stop the miles piling on, is the sensor easy enough to fit or does it require special tools? think its a trip to the dealer but if possible would be keen to try myself and save the 200 mile round trip.

No, have the sensor sent up from HHC, + instructions, and check in with Wallace performance - they did an excellent job on mine, and obviously have the correct type of strippers and heat shrink gun.
