ESPN to air classic British GPs

The ESPN Classic Sport network has purchased the rights to screen BBC's
British Grand Prix archive, starting this weekend.

ESPN Classic Sport will broadcast pre-Concorde Agreement races, beginning this
Saturday at 10pm with a half an hour of highlights from the 1977 British
Grand Prix, commentated on by Murray Walker.

That will be followed at 10:30pm by a repeat of the following year's race at
Brands Hatch.

The show will continue next Saturday with the 1973 crash-filled event and then
in September with a double-header for the 1974 and 1975 Grands Prix.

All of them will be accompanied by Walker's comments.

missed todays but looking at the Schedule the next screening is 10pm Saturday night, for the British GP 1977 and 10:30pm for the 78 British GP.



DON'T MISS THEM! If they have the BBC archive there will be more to come I'm sure.
