Hi

I'm looking for a good vendor of CAT6 patch cables for my Gigabit LAN. I need a range of sizes and, importantly, for those sizes to be available in multiple colours to aid in cable identification.

Here is an example of what I'm looking for:
Belkin Snagless CAT6 Patch Cable (RED)

dabs.com has a decent selection but some I need are not in stock and they tend be missing certain colours in certain sizes.

Some of the plastic 'zip-lock' type plastic cables ties would also be handy if I could order them at the same time.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

roadie.

Off the top of my head i can't remember where we get out patch leads from. Wandsworth rings a bell, but google says no. Belkin network cables are rubbish, don't buy them. I'm sure they're great at data transfer but the plug design is awful and i've never gont one to lay flat on the floor in about 8 years of trying. I've got a red one here that's still holding its shape from being folded in the box about 5 years ago.

yes Waddies are the kiddies. Trade suppliers and excellent patch leads. We have literally used tens of thousands over the years yes

That's the badger. I do find them a bit limp for routing through racks, but absolutely great quality kit.
