Bit of a rare colour car - Verde Artemis,

Just saw it in the window at the Macari place on the one-way system in Wandsworth
Don't like the colour myself, but worth driving past if you're in the area

They made 50. Was it LHD or RHD (I think only two RHD cars delivered in the UK, so pretty rare if it is)? Great detailing on those 40ths, carbon fibre around the windows, perforated leather, titanium wheels, a unique colour.

Hi guys,

There are many differences on this car, not just cosmetic.

The car has a different exhaust, as well as a blue printed engine.

I am not allowed to say what the resulting power output is, but needless to say the standard Murcielago owners whom I have demonstrated the car to back to back have been very surprised at the difference.

Stunning car.

Cheers,

Alan.

Traxx,

I can't say how or why I know, all I can say is that trust me, it has more power.

PM me if you want to know more.

Alan.

www.weissach.com/auto-details.asp?autoID=190

I notice Lambo Wycombe has one for sale on autotrader but it's not on their website

BTW were all 50 cars LHD?

I am one of those owners and can confirm that there was a marked difference between the 40th and a 'normal' Murcielago. The 40th was more responsive and better set up - the whole car just felt 'more together'. Still not sure about the colour........but it almost drove like a different car!!

I have had my wrists slapped before for posting industry stuff, and I am not about to do it again.

But I do have information regarding this car, and it is different.

true...but if Lamborghnini don't release the info themselves they certainly don't want their agents telling the world on a forum....

If I went into a Lambo main dealer when they were selling the Anniversary and asked "whats the difference between this an my standard car" and they replied "oooh its a secret" I would PMSL. Its not as if its a modern Formula 1 engine and its all hush hush as they dont want the rivals to find out confused

Ah....you see this is why. How do i say this nicely? actually i cant; Many lambo owners are utter tits. They think they're some sort of better class of human just cos they can own a vaguely expensive car (all supercars apply). The 'secret' bits and pices of lambo lore plays to this image precisely. Wer you a buyer you'd be 'in the know' and could then feel even more smug about how clever you are!

Before I get lots of 'how can you say that's' i base this on around 7/8 years of marque involvement...and it really is true (IMO). I'm sure fezza owners are the same. little percentage would ever appear on a forum like this....most of the decent ones are all well represented here!

I think they made a couple of RHD (in fact I am certain there are at least two). I had a quick look in Macaris when I drove past yesterday, it's a 55 plate so might be the unregistered LHD car that was being advertised by Modena cars/Lambo Whycombe (I think) - clearly it is now registered!

Exhaust upgrade is very obvious when you hear the car - it sounds fantastic - can't comment on engine changes as I don't know about them.

IF it did have a power increase (I'm not disputing it) then why wouldn't Lambo advertise the fact ? It would certainly gain more interest and help residuals.

Lamborghini Manchester has one of the two official UK cars - I think it was 41/50 - and aparently Lamborghini London had the other one recently too. The one in Manc has been used - it has 13.5k miles on it!! Good work!

I can honestly say, I've yet to meet a Lambo owner who I considered to be a tit. The occasional "eccentric", yes, but not a tit.
I'm sure they're out there though.
Lamborghini have been notorious in the past for not coming clean on the spec of a car. Not least because, often, they would assemble the car out of whatever components were in stock, rather than those specified by the build paperwork. Much to the horror of the dealer!
All part of the (slightly wacky) heritage.

I would love to explain why at times I am evasive, but I know who reads this forum, and how keen they can be to shut me up, so I have to use discretion.

Not my choice, I can assure you. I wish I could tell you all everything, but I can't, and that is that.

You can always pm me if you want to know more.

Ruttboy.
