I have heard from what I think should be a reliable source that 40 staff have again been laid off on full pay and that the lease on the current site has been extended for a further 6 months.Has anyone else heard similar? Also struggling to get parts out of the factory.
I love my 2nd TVR a T350T and have funds set aside for a new one next year but if the above is the case and TVR don't get their PR act togehter and thus sales up the public will walk away from the mess and there won't be new beasts to be had

Try this:
Every time you hear a rumour about the Factory going under, expanding, buying Rolls Royce (made that one up), moving, staying put and any and everything else: write it down.
Look at each again after six months and work out how much you would have lost if you had bet on it.
I've no doubt that sooner or later one rumour will be proved correct, but then those are the sort of odds that keep the national lottery in business.

Thats not so far off the mark. We know the chuffing clutch fingers and starter motors are made by a certain Mr W Wonker.
My Griffith is currently in need of a new door.
My bodyshop has not been able to get one for the last 2 weeks while the factory has been shut down.
Michael phoned them today to be told that they would be able to satisfy the order as the staff had been sent home due to lack of orders. Effectively extending the shut down ...
