Right who has fallen asleep in place's the regret.

I have fallen asleep on the circle line and done a lap and half before I got kick off at closing completly the wrong side of london!
Another time when I lived in Fulham I was coming home from the west end planing on changing at West Ken etc. and ended falling asleep and getting kicked off in Heathrow! - 50 quid cab ride home!

As a student, lived in halls with a load of student nurses during the first year . Went to the uni bar one night, and was introduced to Blastaway (castaway and diamond white, makes a pint, tastes like lilt )

There was a large set of steps back to the halls, and halfway up, feeling very , and having that awful sensation of trying to walk forwards and actually walking backwards. Thought taking a rest would be a good idea, so collapsed near some bushes.

About 6 hours later, I was woken up by the someone I knew on the way to lectures , so went back to the kitchen in my flat, whereupon I was informed that I had cruelly chosen a most inappropriate place to have my 40 winks, and had slept on a family of slugs, the evidence now hanging shrivelled from the back of my black shirt.

Stayed away from the 'lilt' from there on in....!

Not me (honest!) and maybe he didn't regret it, but a collegue of mine years ago, fell asleep at his PC. His head hit the keyboard, and I had to wake him up.

The document he was writing started off OK, first it went a bit muddled, then it turned to gibberish, culminating in a repeated charater.

He got a verbal warning for that, as he was regularly dozing off/getting in late.
Might have been something to do with a new girlfriend and 'rabbits'

Driving back from The Isle of Skye (Pre-bridge days)after non-stop drive up, 2 days climbing, 1 mate with broken leg and return drive, almost without pausing for breath!
Sleep lasted about 3 seconds (I hope!) woke to sound of centre reservation rumble strip.......
Drove rest of the way home with heater turned to cold and windows wide open.

When I was in A&E on sunday I was doing the usual nosey bastard big ears bit and earwigging to all the conditions of my fellow patients anyway. There was a female thing in her early thirties with a really big burn on her forearm, so big they were calling in a consultant plastic surgeon. Her story was that she'd been pissed on the saturday night and fallen asleep against the radiator! Now having had a little bit of personal experience of being pissed I thought yer right :chinny: my arse, no way can you be that pissed to do that much damage without waking up anyway after a few blood tests and a bit more digging it pans out she'd O/Ded and gone unconcious for several hours against the radiator....ouch I thought.

Anyway I then had to endure an hour putting up with listening to this "crack whore" wittering on at her two toddler bastard off spring about "Mummy's not feeling to well please behave" and "no I can't play at the moment" while she waited for the psyciatrist (sp?) they'd called in for her.........what winds me up is I will get billed for my ambulance as even though I was "off road" they classified me as an RTA I pay a fortune in both personal and employers NI and yet this "crack whore" who I doubt makes the slightest contribution ties up the resources of doctors, nurses, social services, plastic surgeon, brain doctor (still can't spell it ) etc etc. After an hour in the company of this thing I was ready to newter the bitch myself preferably with a chain saw.

Ooooooooops anyway got all O/T there. She fell asleep against a radiator and burnt herself.

Did have a kip halfway up a rock-climb in Snowdonia once (Flying Buttress on Dinas Cromlech for fellow rock-clingers) after a fairly exhaustive friday night.

Was working as doorman (for the night) at a resturant/bar. Feel asleep leaning on the door. Someone opened the door outwards (away from me). I don't need to tell you what happened next!

A few years ago but true, played hockey Saturday afternoon, reasonable standard so quite tiring. Couple of beers, as one does. Back home to wife and then out with friends for a meal. Couple or more glasses of wine and who goes to sleep at the table!! The rest of them then move to another table so I woke up with the whole restrauant laughting at me.

I had a job interview last year in which one of the interviewers fell asleep while I was making a presentation.

He did apologise afterwards, still didn't get the job tho'.

While driving (!)

It was 5 am on a monday morning and I was driving back from an excellent but exhausting three days Porsche meeting in Britanny - I think I had slept an average of 5-6 hrs per night!

Anyway, back in the outskirts of Paris entering the peripheric 'ring I fell asleep for a couple of seconds (luckily I was alone the only car around) only to wake up a few seconds before noticing the police lights around a badly crashed SLK all over the road...

Thinking back again about it I even might not have awaken if it hadn't been for the police blue lights and might have finished like the SLK..

Went to NZ on business; rugby, hols and family, and my eldest daughter thought she'd do us a favour booking us into Porgy and Bess the night after 3 days of travelling! Needless to say I slept through it but got nudged often by other spectators for snoring too loud!!! Didn't stop the show though..............

I fell asleep (pi55ed) at a Rangers v Celtic Cup Final at Hamden Park a few years ago and woke up when the first goal was scored.

Still get a lot of stick about it now!

Fell asleep on the Northern Line a few too many times. Once I got one a train at Bank, which terminated at Tooting Broadway. Woke up in a completely dark Tube train. Wandered down the front and got out on the platform. Met by inspectors who bollocked me.

Second fell asleep and woke up in the depot at Morden. Woken up by a big scary black man with a cap shouting at me to "Get off my fcuking train". He was bigger than me so I grabbed my bag and ran.

I once fell asleep on a train. Ended up resting my head on the shoulder of the complete stranger in a city suit sitting next to me. Bless him - he let me sleep. Problem was I had dribbled during my sleep and left a damp patch all over his suit.
