Total kit car live
Discussion
I was at the one at Oulton Park earlier in the year.
If you're looking at buying a car I expect its a great event, being able to compare lots of cars on the same circuit on the same day would be pretty handy (even if its only from the passenger seat). Its also a good chance to chat to the companies producing the cars and owners too.
Unlike the other shows, it doesn't really have many parts or tools stands etc, the focus is purely on the kit manufacturers and their cars on track.

The events are excellent, the first one was deemed a bit of a letdown by some people purely as there were not many "punters" there. This was just due to limited advertising and it being the first one. But for the people that did go, it could not have been better, no queues for some of the cars. I was driving on behalf of GTM and sometimes there were no people to take round! The more popular it gets, better for the manufacturers but more people queuing for rides. Get in while its quiet! Last time most cars were free to ride in once you had your £10 wristband, but expect to pay around £10 per ride in the future. Most cars are customer cars with their owners driving and you money usually goes to the drivers towards petrol and tyres, not profit.
