Just installed a piece of software that notified me that it created a system restore point, just in case. Out of interest I opened XP's Resotre utility to see how many I'v got - I'v ecreated a handful over the last year - but there are billions, going way back when. I assume these will all take up space on my drive? Are these manageable (ie removable) individually?

right click on my computer > goto properties > goto system restore tab

you can change the amount of space this feature uses up. I wouldn't set it too low unless you backup your HD regularly.

You can turn system restore off and then delete whatever restore points you no longer require. They dont take an excessive amount of space though so be warry if you are not too computer minded.
