Rant mode on:
just got a phone call from my Insurance broker - My fleet policy runs out at midday!
current policy allows no claims discount % to be assigned individually to selected vehicles i.e; we use the accrued 65% againt the more expensive vehicles and if we have a claim we only lose the no claims against that vehicle.
mr snidey Insurance man now tells me that they will no longer do this and we have to amalgamate the N.c discount and everything will be on one policy so if one of my employees has a claim we loose the N.c on the whole policy.
2.5 hours notice - C*NTS
they must be sitting there laughing, thinking I know we wont tell him till the last minute and drop a bombshell on him so that he cant get another quote and will just sign up.
You can FCUK Right off - you have just lost my custom To55er.
{end rant mode}
Coffee and cigs please

Good question - The broker is saying that it is the Underwriter, but the Broker must have known before today!
They must assume that I am going to just renew and accept their extortionate rates as they appear to have the upper hand
the broker has got to be some sort of
- I spoke to him about 4 weeks ago to add another vehicle to the policy and reminded him that the policy was due for renewal

I have had it with the Broker - twat.
mind you he has arranged for a continuation of cover / temporary cover note for another seven days
whilst he gets the paperwork out to me Cheers matey - That will do nicely, especially as I have got someone else coming to see me at 10 tomorrow and if quote, terms etc are suitable he can have it all sorted by monday lunchtime
