Something like this - I was thinking it might be a good thing to put on motorbikes for filtering (apparently it is legal to do this in at least some US states).

Interesting little toy, but AIUI not legal for us. Shame really.

Best wishes all,
Dave.

That's a shame - not the sort of law I'd be prepared to show discretion to myself on either.

Ah well, cheers von

Being up in'th sticks we did not get fancy wig wag flashers until recently, but jeez they dont half make a difference. People move over quite a bit sooner, IMHO. Just need 530d's instead of Astras now boxedin

I know someone that's got them on his road car used selectively they can be ace for getting through a bit of heavy traffic or getting lane hoggers to shift without undertaking, they can clear the outside lane of the M25 a treat. Not that I would ever condone such behaviour but they are not impersnonating plod after all just alerting other road users to their presence, and lets face it if they came on behind you would ignore them? I know I wouldn't

No seriously I had them fitted on the S3 when the car was being used as a safety car on track days and just forgot to ever take them off, tiny little switch up under the dashboard, great fun for sh1tting up your mates when you come up behind them but I'd hate to ever put them on behind a real copper, I imagine they'd throw a very large book at you.

Why do you want lights designed for "EMERGENCY VEHICLES" on your car ?

There's a reason why Emergency services need to get to a crime scene/accident quickly.

For thoes that do it for a crack, hope you get all you deserve and more

I was thinking of getting some as I regularily drive round a race track to get to post whilst other marshals on track, as long as they are not used I can't see the problem, I already have pulsing amber rear led's for off road use.

(i) a pedal cycle; or
(ii) a trailer drawn by, or a sidecar attached to, a pedal cycle;

and which, if it is a lamp which is required to be fitted pursuant to regulation 18, is capable, when emitting a flashing light, of emitting light to the front of the pedal cycle, trailer or sidecar (as the case maybe) of an intensity of not less than 4 regulation; or

I think the first sentence of regulation posted says it must not be fitted.
