Accomodation near London Metropolitan university

Does anyone know where there are private accomodation's near by? Im starting in sepetember and need to find somewhere quick, im from up north so the closer to the uni the better as I don't really know London. Obivously price is also a factor since Im a student. I've looked at the university's accomodation but I don't really want to be sharing a bathroom and shower with 30 other people. Any help will be greatly appreaciated thanks.
