The TRD 2000 was a special edition released, (for, or in celebration of the JGTC I think). It had closer to 300 bhp, and had wider track, etc. Stunning in the flesh. If you can get on, then get it!!


odds are it's just a kit, as the originals are ultra rare!

Yep need to find out what the spec it, genuine TRD cars have their own VIN in place of the toyota one and were usually speced with 500bhp HKS blueprinted engines.

99% of cars you see for sale are just glassed on kits many even on n/a cars.

reading the ad it sounds like it went to TRD (late in life) just for the cosmetic work without the power upgrades, i'm sure the seller would list if it had an TRD/HKS built engine.

don't know much if anything about the 2000gt, but didn't they all come with the aircraft style round metal fuel cap?
