Anybody know of any good reliable hosting companies that offer dedicated MS servers where the actual physical server is based abroad?

I'm thinking America.

Thanks.

Whats your budget?

For the higher end, www.rackspace.com are pretty good, then for a more budget server, www.ev1servers.com have a good reputation.

Then a lot of others to check out: www.webhostdir.com/spotlight/dedicated.asp for some more options.

Problem with hosting is its hard to know one company from another, especially in the States. The review sites are all spammed by the companies themselves, so are worthless. Worth ringing a few up and checking their response times etc.

Also, do you definitely need hosting abroad? If you're administering from the UK, it might be easier to host in the UK. Jamie will be along soon to help

Budget is about £70p/m, and the server HAS to be located outside of the UK.

I also need remote control of the server's desktop!

If you need abroad, how far... just out of England?? Out of the UK... out of Europe? Out of this Hemisphere..

I'm sure there's a valid reason for going abroad... but typically they are Disaster Recovery reasons... but this would imply enterprise.. and £70 pcm flies in the face of that..

Dodgy content is country specific also, only really Holland / US that allow dodgy dodgy content..

It's all in the details
