sat nav/ camera detectors

hi, looking to purchase a portable device that does a good job on sat nav and also on camera site warnings. Road angel navigator seems to be a reasonable device for £250.
Anyone else got experience/recommendation of these type of devices?

on the Sat Nav - I use a NavMan 520

its a great little thing and has never let me down yet

The only critisism it got in the press is you can't use full postcodes to get you to your destination

however this is not really a problem at all, you enter the first part e.g ab12

and then select the street from there

Snooper Indago for me!

I had a Navman but could not hear it in the Noble when moving quite quickly, now have a Road Angel Navigator it has a small amplifier in the cradle, can hear that quite well. Is the Snooper Indigo very loud?

For SatNav alone I've got TomTom 700 and it's the dogs 8ollcks. Only problem I've ever had is one day it stopped taking to me and I missed a turn (Sorry again, Ash, Justin, Jools and Owen...we were in France at the time ) but it was fine after it was switched off and on. It does all of Europe and you can subscribe for the camera sites.
