double bad luck?

recently mrs D had her car cloned. we only found out becuase she recieved a NIP in the post for speeding in a place we havent been to.... anyhow. reported the car cloned to the local BIB and told the scumera pratnershhip the same, but requested the evidence all the same. a few weeks later they replied to the letter saying that no further action was to be taken. naturally unhappy about this, she wrote back demanding substantiation as the requested evidence was not sent. shortly follwed a letter confirming the cloning.....


next.... whilst away recently on holiday, the number plates were stolen off of my XJR... now its not the most unrecognisable plate to notice.. anyway when notified by a friend, i phoned my local(home) BIB. the first question i was asked...

'Do you know who did it?' wtf!!! 'clearly, a thief' i replied still at least the police can manage a sense of humour....

anyone else had similar run ins?
