It's a long shot, but i'm sure most of you will recognise the lanky git in the dodgy white suit. For those that don't follow the BTCC, it's defending champion Matt Neal, who took some time off from swapping paint with Jason Plato to get married in the BRDC centre...

It struck me as a bit strange.

On the beach in Hawaii or a nice church, but the BRDC centre in the middle of a Drifting event?

Congratulations to them both, I think the idea of getting married at Silverstone circuit quite cool, & very unique. Makes a change from the stuffy old traditional churches.

Depends if you have lived and breathed motorsport you entire life doesn’t it really?

As for the day it is unlikely that there were many others which didn’t clash with his racing commitments and when the BRDC building would be available.

Just as he said, damn sight more romantic than the 479th wedding at some over priced faux country house.

A tad harsh.

I've seen the photos from inside the BRDC and, to be honest although it wouldn't be my choice of wedding venue, having the track in the background did make for good photos.

Like someone else said it was an original choice for Matt and Karen and I wish them all the best...
