App £1347 for the full TVR Approved 1 yr warranty on cars up to 5yrs of age (not sure how much on cars up to 8yrs old which is the furthest the warranty goes out to IIRC). Add on cost of a full 100 point check (£200 or so) AND the cost of any work to be done to get it to warrantiable condition and you should be there. On a 2000 car, this last amt COULD potentially be nothing or it could be a lot.
Only remaining query - I recommend you read loads on the running costs on this forum as this is not a car you want to own if you are concerned/worried all the time about potentially large bills. Yes, an engine rebuild is really hefty if it happens, but there are other sizeable costs which could take place regardless of a warranty (servicing, tyres) etc. All the best.
thanx baz, so basically its pointless getting a warranty at that cost, as for servicing my friend is the owner of his own garage buisness and he doesnt charge me labour of any kind, so it would be parts at trade, so fingers crossed a £3000 rebuild would come out alot cheaper "i hope".
i really like the tuscan though and the power, is there any mod you can do to actually stop the engine going (in fact what does "go"
like uprated parts
