Does anybody know of any other TVR’s in this colour? It’s a purple / pink colour.

I am truing to get touch up paint for it. It appears that it was a 1 off / few off paint. I found out through much searching that it’s an ICI colour, but can’t find anybody who will just do a bit off for some touch up. Would be interested to here form anybody with this colour. People appear to love it or hate it… everyone to their own. I didn’t go looking for one this colour, but it came along at a good price and in A1- nick.

It looks much pinker in the light. Not tried them. I have just spoken to www.auto-paint.co.uk/ and he said he phoned TVR and spoke to PAT CUMMINS !!! Apparently he is in his 70s/80s and has been working for TVR since he left school. The guy at Auto Paints told me that PAT keeps all the paint codes in a brown paper folder and TVR are trying to get it off of him but he wont give. Auto Paints said they can get it made up for £16.50 per 250 mil. They would have to order it in themselves. I don’t think that’s too bad myself.

Either of the two i previously mentioned are able to make up a sample from the code under your bonnet.Or at least this is usually the case, there might be an exception with a particularly rare colour,i guess.

I have looked at www.tvrbodyshop.co.uk and they will do the touch up but its as expensive as buying 250 mill from auto paints. I may get 500 mil and get the body shop up the road to gun the whole bonnet over for me. He said he would do it for 250 notes?? I thought that was quite reasonable. He has done some great work on my MG a couple of times. He also dose all the work for the local Jag garage. I think he makes and amazing job, but he refuses to blend in as he is a bit of a perfectionist.
