Sept is approaching ad for one reason or another, I cant do any of the dates at the bigger venues.

So I was looking at Abingdon with Motorsportevents.com

They say its go a good surface..Anyone been ? is it good enough for my gt3? is it too stony??

Also I noticed the trackday at woodbridge suffolk..they say its got amazing tarmac.

Again..any reviews???

thanks.

This is a new venue so there's not much info about it but I'm keen to give it a go as I'm hopoing it will be another 'safe' place like Bedford. Are you going to book?

Abingdon is fine but if wet I'd get the tape out to protect your paint

I've done Abingdon with MSE and thought both the layout and the surface were excellent for a airfield. IMHO your GT3 would excel there.

I've been round Abingdon as part of a Stage event, but obviously your track day is including only the main runways, so you shouldn't have a problem - the surface is very good. The only problems (and they can be big ones) are standing water when it rains heavily, but this only happens at the edges of the runway where we are forced as part of a stage event - on a track day, I imagine you will be kept more than clear of these.

If any part of your track day layout takes in the perimeter roads, though, you'll be buggered - don't worry; I'm sure it won't!
