E36 M3 hesitant/lumpy when cold?

Hi,

Having recently purchased my 1995 M3 (3.0ltr) and having not driven any other M3's from cold, i was wondering if it is normal?

Before my oil has warmed up the engine seems a bit hesitant and jumpy as the revs start ot get a bit higher. I never drive my cars hard from cold anyway, but even gently moving up the revs its still not smooth. However as soon as the engine is up to temperature the car drives perfectly normal

Anyone else's do this?

Ok, thanks for the reassurance chaps. Funilly enough since getting it i have put supermarket super unleaded in and was advised against it on another forum. Filled up with Optimax (now called VPower) last night and this morning it felt a lot better!
