how many owners?

had a chap call about the wedge today and wanted to know how many owners the car has had. think i am the 7th, he thought this was a lot but i pointed out the car is 15 years old, so a change of owner every 2 years on average is not bad. haw many have your cars had?

im the forth or fifth i believe on mine...

The only reason i can think of, is that most people see lots of owners who buy the car, thrash it and sell it before it needs looking after....

Like anything, you could have a car which has got 20000 miles, one owner and full service history all done on the track! The car would be shagged but 'the unwritten car buying rule' tick all the boxes!

If it looks like a goodun, its a goodun...if it looks like a lemon, its probably a lemon!!!

I think I'm the 7th owner of mine.

Think mine has had at least 7 - I all their names (car came with huge history file)..

Personally don't think it relevant on a 15 year old car.

Condition is everything.

I had a one prev owner MG a few years ago, it means feck all, it was still a shed.

5 Previous owners ... I bought my car when it was 6 years old !!! Each owner had owned the car for a summer and Part-ex'd it / sold it over the winter months.

MY 4X4 has only had one owner (me)and I would not want it when I have finished with it. I washed it once I think, and when it gets dirty inside I open all the doors and let the wind blow some dust out. It needed a new exhaust about 6 weeks ago took us 45 mins with a jet wash under the thing just to find it Its a mass produced pile of sh1t. so much for one owner cars
