Ok so im driving back to Wales from london....its late....its dry.....id just watched an episode of Jukes of hazzard so was feeling brave.......i feel the need...the need for speed.......so i put the pedal to the metal and see what she will do......but when i hit 175mph she started to turn into chitty chitty bang bang and felt like she was about to take off.....the front end went lighter than an anorexic chick on slim fast....very very very very scary!!!!!

Am i just being a big girl? Has anyone taken a tuscan to the limit with out a front splitter on? as im starting to think it needs the splitter to keep her on the ground when you take them to starship enterprise speeds!

did 182mph at Elvington airfield with no signs of front end lift.

I do have the little front splitter fitted as per the Chim/Griff facing forwards so that probably helps a little, unlike the Cerbera's which face backwards which is to reduce the bonnet lifting.

That has to be scary as hell. I said it here recently - putting a splitter on mine made significant improvement. That's why S's have it, and, as the standard Tuscans do +175mph, I think they should too. I can't understand why TVR won't sell them to standard Tuscan owners. Get it - just don't put one on without the metal frame. The debris and loss of downforce of a spitter ripping off at 175 can't be good

where can us lowly ordinary tuscan owners get them from if TVR won't sell them to us?
