On doing an ebay trawl this morning I found a dry-sump conversion plate for an Rv8, which seemed like a pretty well made item... the vendor wasn't offering a load of info and I'm just curious as to whether this is/was a common or known mod and, if so, what the particular benefits/disbenefits are? I'm supposing it's to do with eliminating oil-drag from the crank, and maybe increasing ground clearance (say for off-road applications) and would need a whole tanking and scavange system building. Anymore for anymore?
