Copied iTunes library to new PC.....problem
Discussion
Hi All
I've recently copied my docs etc from an old WinXP to new WinXP PC, using the File Transfer Wizard, which worked fine. I installed iTunes on my new PC, which has somehow picked up my old playlist - great, I thought, until I went to play a tune and it told me that there is no disk present....
My playlist does not contain all my music, so how can I fix my playlist, so that it contains the same tunes as the old one, but knows where the music is now located?
Cheers!

Have you told iTunes via the Preferences where the music files are - Advanced/General?
Use the 'change' button to navigate to the HDD and folder where they are.
You should option the 'keep folder organised' and 'copy to folder when adding to Library'
Quit and relaunch - job done.
