Yup - mine had it when I bought it (it was 6 years old then). One crack is right between two of the light switches, the other is at the far right hand end of the dash. Been meaning to do something about it, but removing/replacing the dash just for a few cracks seems to be a big job.

Yep mines got them all over (late '95 Chim). Not sure what to do about it. I think I read somewhere that Zertec or Leven (or someone!) do a replacement dash.

Or maybe I'll just make a brushed Aluminium one someday when I'm feeling adventurous!! How hard can it be eh??

Edit: Or thinking about it, a black padded leather might go nice with the beige leather thats already there?!?!

Fernhurst did me a new walnut one as part of the deal on my 95 chmy 5.0. They reckoned it cost them a few £100's but have to take their word for it......was definitely worth it....looks the business.

They might be worth contacting for a quote?

If you have the time you can take the walnut one out, strip it of the wood then clean and polish underneath, looks really nice and costs nothing!!!
cheers

Look at TVR links and you will find Wedge, they do recons for a very good price.
The only down side is that you have to get it to them.
They are based in Sheffield and are very good indeed.

Hi all

I had the bit around the stereo don in Jan by Tower View, it cost about 60 - 70 pounds, worth it though looks lovely.

You could have them painted in the body colour. Some look good, some don't.
